Performance readiness for youth athletes & families
Player Readiness for Big Moments
A 10-minute readiness check-in for your girls' program—so more players step into big games confident, resilient, and ready to compete.
The problem you already see
When your girls look like different players on game day
In practice, they're loose and sharp. Under lights, some of them tighten up, play small, or disappear.
You're already managing:
Players who overthink every mistake
Confidence that swings wildly from week to week
Quiet burnout that shows up as "just not loving it anymore"
Parents who can feel something's off, but don't have language for it
A lot of this isn't about talent or effort. Often, it's about how they're carrying pressure.
What the Player Readiness Check-In does
One quick check-in. A clearer picture of how your players handle big moments.
Our 10-minute check-in gives you:
How players experience pressure when the stakes feel high
Where their confidence is solid—and where it gets shaky
How quickly they bounce back after mistakes or tough games
It's not therapy. It's not a hype tool.
It's a calm, structured way to see how your girls are really doing on the inside—so you're not caught off guard when pressure shows up as shutdowns, benchings, or "I think I'm done with soccer."
1. Players complete a 10-minute check-in
You choose the team(s). We send a secure link. Players answer a short series of questions about how they feel about big games, mistakes, pressure, and expectations.
How it works
Simple for players. Simple for staff.
2. Each family gets a one-page Player Readiness Map
A visual snapshot of how their athlete handles pressure, confidence, and bounce-back—plus 2–3 prompts to start conversations at home.
3. You get a Program Readiness Snapshot
A bird's-eye view across your girls' program:
Where players are steady
Where confidence and resilience are thin
3 practical recommendations you can act on in training and communication
Why directors and coaches use it
What it gives your program
For DOCs and academy leaders:
A way to spot signs of burnout and emotional overload earlier—before they're visible in performance
A shared language with parents that goes beyond "she just needs more confidence"
Clear signals on where to support specific teams or age groups
A differentiator when families ask: "How do you support players mentally, not just physically?"
For coaches:
A better sense of what's happening beneath performance
Simple talking points that don't require a sport psych degree
Confidence that they're not flying blind with struggling players
Easy rollout. We start small, learn your org, and build
something that fits your culture.
Who’s behind it?
Built by sport psychologist Alex Auerbach, PhD, who has supported athletes at the NBA, NCAA, and elite youth levels.
